  • Looking at the extensions, enable them gradually to know if a certain extension is responsible for the problem.

Update Chrome:

  • Open the browser and click ‘Menu’ ‘Help’ ‘About Google Chrome’.

Chrome will then look for updates and make those updates to the browser. You should then update the browser’s software and restart the browser after making the change.

  • Right click at the Chrome and click on Settings.
  • Then just scroll down the window and click on Advanced.
  • In Reset and clean up, you have to click on Restore settings to their original defaults and then select the confirmation button.

Some programs are incompatible with Chrome. Consumers should also ensure that they are not running any new software that might have been recently installed since it can be causing the problems.

Check for DNS Issues:

If this does not work then again change the local DNS settings and use a public DNS server such as Google’s public DNS (8. 8. 8. 8) or OpenDNS (208. 67. 222. 222).

Try changing the settings of your network and then set up the DNS servers all right.

Flush DNS Cache:

  • Click on the Start button and you will type in ‘cmd’ and press enter if you are on Windows machines or open the terminal in MAC.
  • With Windows, command is ipconfig /flushdns while for Mac it is dscacheutil -flushcache; Next, press down Enter.

Check for Browser Conflicts:

  • Open a new Incognito mode in Chrome and test to determine whether the problem is still there.
  • Click the three-dot icon at the upper right part of Chrome > More tools > Settings > People > Add someone.

Reinstall Chrome:

  • If none of the above steps work, maybe it is time to uninstall chrome then reinstall it again from the start.
  • Visit the official downloading page of Chrome and get the current version of Chrome and install it.
